The Graduate Student Grant Program for emerging leaders of nonprofit / public service organizations provides direct payments to Graduate Student Loan servicers for up to $10,000 over two years, paid in semi-annual installments.
Applications must be fully completed by Friday, October 10, 2025.
Requirements & Criteria
- Earned or will earn a graduate degree by June 2026
- Employed or have a job offer for at least 30 hours/week at a public service nonprofit (501c3)
- Work for a nonprofit in Greater New Haven
- Previously received need-based student loans (e.g., Stafford, Perkins) during graduate studies
- Annual income below $85,000 at the time of the award
