CGS Summer Writers Studio

The Council of Graduate Schools is hosting a Summer Writers Studio on Friday, June 26, anytime between 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (eastern).Come-and-go as your schedule allows. We will write together in a supportive writing community. There are optional discussion sessions; or just write all day if you wish. Our schedule is:
7:00 am Zoom opens; we write
9:00 – 9:15 am Brief meet-and-greet to identify potential writing partners/groups; plus a discussion of the #1 writing obstacle for graduate students; Q&A
12:00 noon Discuss other writing obstacles (including the ways we sabotage our writing and degree completion) and how to overcome them
1:00 – 5:00 pm Writing together (I’m available to join you in a break-out room for individual questions and consultations)
