A mix of undergrad and graduate students were invited to attend NYSTRA’s annual conference. NYSTRA is the New York State Therapeutic Recreation Association. Grad students Angela Gerry and Anna Cenzalli presented their special project, Game Modification: Innovative Ways to Modify Popular Table Games. SCSU’s Dr. MaryJo Archambault, EdD, CTRS gave the keynote Address, Advocating for Recreational Therapy: Transforming Challenges into Opportunities for Growth. After their presentations, they were able to enjoy a fun reception that had fun activities and the chance to socialize with other schools like SUNY Cortland.
