Emma Hubbell is a recent graduate from Southern’s M.S. in Computer Science program, and she has since started her professional career in software development. As part of her degree, she completed a thesis studying the practical uses of AI (artificial intelligence) in live streaming. Emma also worked for Southern’s Graduate School as a University Assistant for over 2 years during her time at Southern.
On her experience, Emma states:
“While studying I worked as a University Assistant for the Graduate Studies office. Getting to practically apply the skills I was learning in class was incredible and led me to the job I have now. Since graduating in December, I have taken a job as a software developer for Technolutions in New Haven. I’m getting to do what I love, and I owe that in large part to the education and opportunities I received at Southern.”
Congratulations to Emma on all of her achievements!
